Netflix is set to expand the 3 Body Problem series, adding more episodes to conclude the story. The returning trio of David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo will continue as creators, executive producers, and writers as per TUDUM.
Benioff and Weiss are also extending their exclusive partnership with Netflix, continuing their multi-year deal to write, produce, and direct new series and films.
Besides working on the second season of 3 Body Problem, they’re also developing another series, Death by Lightning. Alexander Woo, who has his own overall deal with Netflix, will maintain his role as co-creator, executive producer, and writer on 3 Body Problem.
