ABC has renewed Bachelor in Paradise for a tenth season, set to air in 2025. This popular spinoff of ABC’s reality dating franchise brings fan favorites from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette together in a romantic paradise, offering them a second chance at love.
Produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon, Bachelor in Paradise has become a staple for fans of the dating series. Season 9, which aired in 2023, ended with two engagements and another relationship, though none of the couples are still together.
Meanwhile, The Bachelorette is back with its 21st season, premiering with 26-year-old Jenn Tran as the lead. Tran is the first-ever Asian lead in the franchise’s history and was originally a contestant on Season 28 of The Bachelor. That season concluded in March with Joey Graziadei proposing to Kelsey Anderson, and the couple is still engaged.

Another spinoff, The Golden Bachelor, premiered in September 2023, focusing on older contestants. The season ended with the engagement of 72-year-old Gerry Turner and 70-year-old Theresa Nist, whose wedding was broadcast as an ABC special titled The Golden Wedding in January. However, the couple announced their divorce in April.
Adding to the franchise’s lineup, The Golden Bachelorette will premiere on September 18. This season will be led by Joan Vassos, a 61-year-old school administrator from Rockville, Maryland. Vassos, who was a contestant on The Golden Bachelor, left during Week 3 due to a family emergency.
ABC announced the renewal of Bachelor in Paradise during Disney’s presentation at the summer 2024 Television Critics Association press tour, highlighting the enduring popularity and evolving nature of its dating franchise.
