Apple TV+ has decided not to renew its surfing docuseries, Make or Break, after its second season as reported by TVLine. The series focused on elite champions from the World Surf League, including Kelly Slater, Stephanie Gilmore, Gabriel Medina, Tyler Wright, Italo Ferreira, and Tatiana Weston-Webb, as they competed for the coveted World Champion title.
The first season, set against the backdrop of the 2021 competition, delved into the challenges posed by the global pandemic. It explored not only the competitive aspects of surfing but also delved into broader themes such as surfing culture, diversity, mental health, and the physical demands of the sport.
