Frasier Season 2 Drops September 19 on Paramount+ with Weekly Episodes

Frasier is returning to Paramount+ with Season 2, premiering on September 19 with two new episodes. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly on Thursdays in the U.S. and Canada.

The first season of the revival series received three Primetime Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program (Half-Hour), Outstanding Cinematography for a Multi-Camera Series (Half-Hour), and Outstanding Picture Editing for a Multi-Camera Comedy Series.

The new season continues the story of Dr. Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) as he embarks on the next chapter of his life, facing new challenges, forming new relationships, and hopefully, fulfilling some old dreams.

In one episode, Frasier will return to his radio roots at KACL in Seattle, featuring guest stars from the original series, including Dan Butler as Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe, Edward Hibbert as Gil Chesterton, and Harriet Sansom Harris as Frasier’s devilish agent, Bebe Glazer.

The cast also includes Jack Cutmore-Scott as Frasier’s son, Freddy; Nicholas Lyndhurst as Alan, Frasier’s old college buddy turned university professor; Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Alan’s colleague and head of the university’s psychology department; Jess Salgueiro as Eve, Frasier and Freddy’s neighbor; and Anders Keith as Frasier’s nephew, David.

Peri Gilpin, who starred in the original series and appeared in Season 1 of the revival, will reprise her role as Roz Doyle, with Greer Grammer playing Roz’s daughter, Alice.

Season 2 will also feature guest stars such as Rachel Bloom, Yvette Nicole Brown, Patricia Heaton, and Amy Sedaris. James Burrows, a veteran director of the original series, returns to direct two episodes.

Frasier is produced by CBS Studios in association with Grammer’s Grammnet NH Productions. It’s written by Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli, who also serve as executive producers alongside Kelsey Grammer, Tom Russo, and Jordan McMahon. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution outside of Paramount+ markets.
