The highly anticipated fifth and final season of Stranger Things is well underway, with Netflix and the Duffer Brothers treating fans to the first behind-the-scenes footage.
This sneak peek not only showcases the return of Jamie Campbell Bower’s Vecna but also introduces the legendary Linda Hamilton from Terminator fame to the series.
“We’re thrilled to bring you the season you’ve been waiting for,” said series co-creator Ross Duffer, standing alongside his brother, Matt, in the teaser video released on Monday.
The footage offers glimpses of the beloved main cast, including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Winona Ryder, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Brett Gilman, and Priah Ferguson.

Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, notes the passage of time: “I started when I was 10. I’m now turning 20 years old. It feels very weird.” Noah Schnapp, who portrays Will Byers, expresses his enthusiasm: “It’s just so exciting. I think this is gonna be the best season yet.”
Netflix also confirmed that new actors Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux have joined the cast. However, the biggest reveal comes when Bower steps back into his Vecna character for a final showdown with Eleven. “If season 4 was big, season 5 definitely feels bigger,” Bower comments while donning his elaborate prosthetic costume.
